It is
well known UV Light will purify and deodorize air, sterilize
water and destroy bacteria in waste products. Contaminated
objects such as surgical instruments, bedding, room air and
human skin is also cleansed rapidly of viruses and bacteria
with the use of UV light. What is not well known is the fact
that overwhelming data
has
been accumulated proving that light in various wavelengths,
intensities and modalities has the ability to destroy
pathogens in the blood, specifically viral, bacterial and
fungal. This is accomplished by utilizing the body’s own
natural defenses to recognize and annihilate the sick,
diseased cells.
The therapeutic process of Light Therapy also referred to as
“Photo Therapy”, “Photoluminescence”, “Photopheresis”, or
“UVBI” has far reaching clinical implications in the
prevention and/or treatment of infectious diseases. The word
“Photoluminescence” sounds hi-tech, but it is an extremely
simple and safe method of treating a patient. “Photo” refers
to light, and “luminescence” refers to the emission of light.
Over the last few decades it has been scientifically
determined that UV light, of various wavelengths, have been
incredibly effective in destroying blood borne pathogens while
heightening the body’s own immune system. Recent technological
innovations in electronics, bulbs and lasers, coupled with
developments in photoactive substances have brought this
technology to a breakthrough level.
In Photoluminescence therapy, a small amount of blood, from
60cc to 250cc is drawn from the body, passed through a
chamber, “treated” with UV light and returned to the body. In
order to more fully understand how this mechanism works, a
basic distinction between a bacterial cell and a healthy cell,
and how this pertains to Photoluminescence must be
established.
In layman’s terms, Photo-Therapy causes a chemical reaction in
which the cell walls are pierced killing the bacteria and
virus, thereby “marking” (identifying) them. The blood and the
marked “debris” are then returned into the body “exciting” or
stimulating the immune system. The body’s now excited, natural
“soldiers” seek out and destroy the identified diseased
“invaders”.
Scientists believe that by destroying the bacteria in the
treated sample of blood, an “autogenous” (or self-generated)
vaccine is produced. When this vaccine, combined with the
photon energy that has been stored in the blood sample, is
released as “induced secondary energy” the diseased cells in
the patient’s bloodstream are systematically destroyed thru
the natural function of the immune system.
When further combined with Insulin Potentiation and
PhotoTherapy, the treatment becomes a powerhouse of healing
energy, enabling the patients to heal themselves.
Unfortunately, Oxidative Medicine/PhotoTherapy is not taught
in Medical Schools today. Most modern medical professionals
have little to no knowledge of the form of medicine. Very few
medical professionals have the extensive education in the
hybridization of atomic orbital levels and associated physics.
However, basic medicine does teach all doctors that Cancer is
an anaerobic phenomenon that is capable of thriving only in an
oxygen-depleted environment, yet amazingly, this knowledge has
shown little application. Only very recently in the Medical
Literature have new medicines that use oxygen enhancement of
treat tumors shown some degree of effectiveness.
In more technical terms several fundamental laws governing the
mechanism of photochemical reaction are as follows:
-
GROTTHUS-DRAPER
LAW: Also known as the first law of photochemistry,
states that only light that is absorbed can act chemically.
-
BUNSEN-ROSCOE LAW:
States that a photochemical change is proportional to the
intensity and duration of illumination (exposure to light).
-
STOKES LAW:
States that the wavelengths of secondarily emitted rays are
greater than the wavelengths of the primary exciting rays.
-
DR. ALBERT
EINSTEIN’S LAW OF PHOTOCHEMICAL EQUIVALENCE: States that
each absorbed quantum should cause one light absorbing
molecule to react photo-chemically.
-
Also, according to
WALTHER HERMAN NERNST, chain reactions are produced by
continued secondary emanations.
Thus we readily see that
the mechanism underlying the complex photochemical procedure
of Photoluminescence or Photo-therapy must conform to certain
known laws. The photochemical reaction itself is a desired
effect and can be utilized practically and predictably to
obtain favorable clinical results.
Biochemists utilizing the laws of physics explain the
following: “All energy and all living things emit light. The
body’s blood cells emit light, but a weak or diseased cell
will emit more light than normal cells, thus rendering them
more attracted and susceptible to light.”
Two photosensitive amino acids, phenylalanine and tyrosine,
are present in all cells in varying degrees. Bacterial and
viral cells contain at least five (5) times as much of these
amino acids as healthy red and white blood cells. Thus,
bacterial and viral cells have a much higher degree of
photoactive sensitivity. In addition, diseased cells are
characteristically smaller in size, with thinner shells.
Through the process of photoluminescence the smaller bacterial
and viral cells are targeted and absorb five (5) times as much
photonic energy as their healthy counterparts. The healthy
cells remain intact while the diseased cells are killed and
marked. The body then goes about the natural process of
elimination of these dead invaders.
UV light may be used as a source of varying energy. Generally
we may assume that in excessive amounts, UV may be harmful to
living beings; in optimum amounts it is of great practical
value; and in inadequate amounts, it may have little or no
effect.
A “flushing” of the face normally occurs immediately after
treatment. This indicates an additional amount of oxygen has
been introduced into the blood stream, A slight rise in
temperature may also occur, which is the body’s natural
reaction when the immune system is stimulated.
The stimulated immune system continues its activity for hours
and sometimes days after the treatment has been induced. The
amount of treatments needed are determined by variables such
as the state of health of the patient’s immune
system, length of time the patient has been ill, and the
severity of the affliction(s). Again, Photo or Light-Therapy
is effective unto itself, as are Oxidative Therapies and Light
Activated Substances. These technologies, used intermittently
have produced even more favorable results and with no known
serious and adverse side effects. Preventative therapy for
healthy individuals can be taken once every two to three
months.
COMMENTS
The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has created an
arduous, costly, and detailed process for market entry for
therapies and medicines. Several years and many millions of
dollars are required to get a drug or device approved.
Typically, the drug is created in a laboratory and later
tested to confirm the medical benefit. Medicine has thus
followed the science. One often finds, however, that
alternative therapies are more successful than accepted
medical procedures. Here, medicine has first been shown
effective, but to be approved for general use, time-consuming,
expensive and exhaustive laboratory-based studies must be
undertaken to provide the “scientific proof”. So here,
scientific proof follows the medicine!
The treatment modalities developed by the Foundation
researchers show the ability to reduce viral loads in HIV
infected patients to zero. This is not done by the suppression
of the virus, but by killing it! Through analysis of patient
data evidence will emerge to confirm that this “killing
action” may be considered as the possible “cure” that has so
long eluded modern medicine. Certainly, the H&WF process will
become the most effective, non-toxic therapy for HIV/AIDS.
It is also important to note that the H&WF is now working with
Expanded Spectrum Photo Therapy (ESPT) and Low Level Light
Therapy (LLLT), which have further implications regarding
Photo Dynamic Therapy for Cancers and non-drug treatment for
pain.

HEALING PHOTONS
By Dr. Kenneth J. Dillon
A “MUST READ”
A message from Bob DiStefano, President of
the Health & Wellness Foundation: “I have read many books
regarding Light Therapy. “Healing Photons” is one of the best.
Its research into the history of UVBI, its case studies, its
facts upon facts, its analysis upon analysis is second to
none. For those studying “Light-Therapy”, “BI”,
“Photoluminescence” this is a must read.

5: “Blood Irradiation therapy belongs to those
ideas that run contrary to currently accepted practice and
hence often arouse bafflement, misunderstanding,
consternation, and rejection when the appear on the scene.
Thus is should not surprise us that no mention of BI is to be
found in standard textbooks. Nor that specialists in
indications for which BI was reported in standard medical
journals to be highly effective are quite ignorant of it. More
surprising, perhaps, is the manner in which medical experts
hungry for solutions to grave problems such as the HIV/AIDS
epidemic and microbial resistance to antibiotics have
repeatedly brushed aside the notion that BI could be precisely
what they are looking for.
We are in the area of “disruptive technology” when dealing
with BI. If what is recorded and analyzed in the following
pages is correct, many accepted therapeutic approaches will
presumably eventually be abandoned. Concepts of pharmacology
will undergo a significant revision. Serious errors will be
seen to have been committed, and by those who have often
between vaunted as among the Best and Brightest of modern
medical scientists.
A long-overdue acceptance of BI could have a major impact on
the earning prospects of giant corporations. Therefore it is
important to note that the history of BI is not merely the
story of one more wonder drug. It recounts the fledgling steps
toward a shift in the way a good deal of medicine is
practiced.”
Page 16: …....”Not only
that: Many Western specialists in the treatment of such
disorders as chronic hepatitis, necrotizing pancreatitis,
bronchial asthma, and pelvic inflammatory disease are unaware
that UBI was used with superior effectiveness and safety 50
years ago to treat these conditions”
Page 17: “Photobiology—the
science of the interaction of light and living cells or
creatures—is a dynamic, important area of biophysics. Certain
parts of it such as the organization of the spectrum are quite
straightforward and well-known, other parts, including the
potentially therapeutic responses of cells to incoming light,
are complex and little understood”
Page 147: 1) “BI Therapy
offers a curious example of a scientific advance that was
largely ignored in the country of its origin even though it
offered an excellent solution to serious, pressing problems
and was promoted in a sober, professional manner. Then it came
to be adopted in distant countries and developed to a high
degree of precision amid widespread use. Yet such was the
prejudice in its country of origin against the adopting
countries that the very fact that they had adopted BI became a
mark against it. This resistance persisted even in the fate of
new pressing needs—the HIV/AIDS epidemic and the development
of microbial resistance to antibiotics.”
2) “There are truly no serious critics of BI therapy,
and there never have been any. What would a serious critic be
like? He or she would take the trouble to investigate in depth
the photobiology and pharmacology underlying BI; read widely
in the medical literature in several languages; consult with
the leading BI practitioners; and organize clinical trials
that were designed to elucidate the strengths and weaknesses
of BI head-on-head against the leading current treatments of
various important diseases. None of those who criticize BI
today has undertaken even a single one of these
qualifying tasks. In other words, the irony is that this
therapy that has so often been dismissed out of hand in fact
does not have any serious critics to contend with. Perhaps the
best source of one would be a BI practitioner who came to see
that actually it was a useless or damaging therapy, but the
fact that no such critic has emerged is telling.”
3) “Not only are there no serious critics; there also
are no serious criticisms of BI therapy. Aside from the minor
inconveniences of blood transfusion, a very modest level of
toxicity, several dozen indications on which is it partially
or totally ineffective, and the defects of the individual
devices, meticulous investigation of every possible drawback
of BI by many highly skilled researchers has identified not
one significant problem. And repeated studies have shown that
BI operates by a physiological mechanism that goes will beyond
any placebo effect, though a placebo-like effect often
accompanies BI.”
4) “BI is of unusual scientific interest. It offers
insight into many aspects of pharmacology and photobiology. It
can help elucidate the mechanisms of the body’s energy
metabolism. And its patterns of action can aid us in
understanding related therapies as well.”
5) “BI therapy is highly effective, safe, and
versatile. It has been exhaustively studied, and its
mechanisms of action are well characterized. BI has been
successfully used on millions of patients in a number of
countries, and in various difficult indications for which
there is no other effective treatment.”
“All of this augurs a bright future for this most efficacious
yet mild of therapies—the therapy of the Healing Photons.”
