HOW IT WORKS
Millions of positively
charged oxygen atoms are atomically bonded to the
negatively charged silver atom in the patent pending
reactor.
Bacteria, Viruses, and

The voyage for
discovery of the Covalent Silver Solution begins in the
late 1950’s by two men who, at this point in time did
not even know each other. They would not cross paths
for another twenty two years.
The first man with an
engineering background, spent many years in the oil
industry. At the age of twelve, while attending church
services, observed people receiving Holy Communion.

sneezing or coughing over the Communion Chalice. He
later asked the Priest about the possible contamination

Richard Leatherwood, a researcher who was attempting to

began to theorize that Covalent

Leatherwood contacted Dr. Diagne

medical research doctor, is one of the early pioneers
responsible for the resurgence of silver use in medical
applications. Dr. Becker's primary area of personal
interest has always been exploring the possibility of
complete tissue and organ regeneration in humans.
Through his fascinating
journey which spans over three decades of dedicated

differentiated and primitive state. However, this

suspended by covalent fusion in purified water, enabling

Acquired Human
Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS) is a disease which
targets and depletes the body's T helper cells. A severe
immunological disorder caused by the retrovirus Human
Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV). HIV results in a defect in
cell-mediated immune response that is manifested by
increased susceptibility to opportunistic infections and
to certain rare cancers, especially Kaposi's sarcoma. It
is transmitted primarily by exposure to contaminated
body fluids, especially blood and semen. The long
incubation period means that no Third World country has

AIDS is already Africa's greatest killer and the
continent's death rate is anticipated to increase five

genes are based not on DNA, but on its relative RNA; a
molecule used in most creatures to translate, rather
than to transmit, the genetic message. All retroviruses
contain about ten thousand RNA units, or 'bases'. The
AIDS virus subverts its host's cells, forcing them to
make replicas of itself with an enzyme whose job is to
copy information from the invader's RNA into human DNA.
Each new particle inserts itself in a cloak of cell
membrane into which it inserts a protein. This is the
key to the infection as it fits into matched molecules
on the surface of blood cells and opens the door to
their interior. This process is most abundant on cells
of the immune system. These multiply in response to
infection, but cannot cope with the challenge. Billions
of new particles are made each day, and although most
are at once destroyed, they soon prevail. Soon after the
virus arrives, the number of protective cells falls,
only to rise as the body's fight back begins. Then, the
immune system begins to collapse. The first sign of

clears up but HIV stays at work. As the defenders are
driven back, other diseases gain a hold. For most people
the transition from infection to overt illnesses takes
from six to ten years.
As AIDS advances there
may be pneumonia, fungal infections, diarrhea, weight
loss and a viral form of blindness. Kaposi's sarcoma
often appears, its first sign being purple marks on the
skin, although as it progresses it kills.
A herpes like virus common in
the homosexual community causes Kaposi's Sarcoma. It
gains entry because the body's immune system has been
undermined; stabilizing and improving one's immune
system is an important step in the treatment of AIDS.

George Carr M.B.E
conducted studies in Belize on 100 HIV-infected
patients. Each of these patients had received

BA-273) treatment of Normal PHA Stimulated Peripheral
Blood Lymphocytes Infected with HIV_1 JRCFS. Acquired
Human Immune-Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS) is a disease
which targets and depletes the body's T helper cells. It
is caused by the Human Immunodeficiency Virus type 1
(HIV_1). Viral load, as measured in Peripheral Blood
Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs)
cultures, have been shown to correlate with early
disease progression and loss of CD4 cells. Similarly
suppression of viral replication by an antiretroviral
agent in Vitro is a clear indication that such an agent
could be a potential candidate for treatment of HIV_1
infection.
In this experiment, PHA
stimulated PBLs infected
with HIV_1 JRCSF were treated with BA-273 agent.
Supernatants were harvested on day 4 and day 7 tested
for P24, to evaluate the inhibitory effect of BA-273
agent on the virus. Peripheral Blood Lymphocytes from a
normal donor were stimulated in a PHA containing medium
for 72 hours. Cells were washed in RPMI 1640 serum free,
re-suspended in a growth medium (RPMI+20% PBS and 10
units/ml IL_2). Cells were counted.
30 million cells were
inoculated with HIV_1 JRCSF, at a dose of 10ng P24
virus/ 10 million cells. Add 15ul
polybrene. Incubate at 37 degrees Celsius, for
two hours.
Wash 2* in serum-free
RPMI Re-suspend in growth medium at a density of one
million cells/ml. Distribute in a 24-well plate: 1 ml
cell suspension per well. Add BA-273 agent at different
concentrations in triplicate wells. Use the first three
wells as controls.
On day 4, culture was
microscopically observed, the cells all looked healthy.
There appeared to be no negative reaction due to the
addition of BA-273 at any concentration: 10ul, 20ul,
40ul, 80ul, 160ul, or 200ul. Cells in control wells
looked no different from those in treated well,
indicating a positive dose response. BA- 273 has not
affected the conditions of the cells. On day 7, cells
were microscopically examined again and similar
observations were made as on day 4.

These are the results
from testing Water Treatment BA559. Reported
are the mean number of
nematodes present in a sample with a standard deviation
in parentheses. BA-559 was poured the equivalent of
1-acre-inch into 3-inch plastic pots containing soil
with a naturally occurring population of nematodes and
two additional species of nematodes were added to the
soil. Three pots were treated while three pots with an
equivalent amount of tap water served as experimental
controls. After 24 hours the living nematodes were
extracted from 60cm3 soil samples from each pot. Note
that BA-559 killed both the plant parasitic nematode (Radolphus
similis) and the insect
parasitic nematode (Steinernema

Covalent Silver
Solution (BA-273) has an anti-parasitic condition
property in vivo and in vitro. Target cells decreased in
number during the study. This parasitic condition not
only decreased after the first dose, but also eventually
disappeared. The parasitic condition corresponded to the
Somatid Cycle, where it was
seen to reverse from a pathogenic to a non-pathogenic
cycle. BA-273 has no effect on red blood cells. The
presence of parasitic forms in the plasma and bacterial
activity presented the patient on arrival was (+++)
which, after the first dose, decreased to (+) and then
decreased to 0. This means a decrease and then a
complete elimination of the parasitic condition. Target
cells were seen with (+++) in the second sample taken
and decreased to (+). The presence of pathogenic
Somatids at the beginning of
the study varied from rod to
mycelial and asci
forms. These were corrected by the second dose of BA-
273 (Cure4). It is important to record the patient was
completing a course of antibiotics. However, there is no
relationship between the diminishing of pathogenic forms
and the use of antibiotics, but there is a decrease when
714x is used. In this case
the patient had already started the 714x program.
714x typically shows changes
within the first 21-day cycle. This case demonstrates
that there could be a potentiator
effect of Cure4 to 714x. The
amount of nonpathogenic Somatids
was zero at the beginning, and starting to increase with
the presence of the double spores that were in the limit
of becoming pathogenic, just prior to the second dose.
This pattern was stable until the end of the study.
Further investigations must be made.
The yeast/fungus was
present at all times in large amounts (+++), with
pathogenic forms. The pathogenicity
was determined by the presence of large colonies five
minutes after taking the blood sample. These differed
from the results of the invitro
samples, where all the fungus was
phagocytised, as previously discussed. The
presence of fungus is related to the pH of the plasma,
nutrition habits, and immune system activity. The
cellular immune system activity was low as was the white
cell proportion, with a predominance of
neutrophils and
eosinophils in the first
reading. This slowly improved starting with better
proportions of white cells and continuing with better
activity. This level of activity was sustained until the
end of the study. This corresponds to the in vitro
analysis. It can therefore be assumed that there is an
immune stimulating response action from Cure4 both in
the in-vitro and in-vivo experiment. During the study
with BA-273 there was a decrease in liver stress. This
was seen by a reduction of the fibrin
spicules. The patient did
not receive any liver protectors,
therefore BA-273 has a liver protector effect. The high
cholesterol observed in the beginning of the study
showed a sudden decrease immediately after the second
dose of BA-273, from (+++) to (+) in a period of less
than a month.

conditions". On P.4, "In vitro tests conducted in 1999
by a prominent university show that Colloidal Silver
kills a broad range of disease microbes including E.

5. Dr. Bjorn Nordstrom,
of the Larolinska Institute
in Sweden, has used silver in his cancer treatment
method. He said it brought rapid remission in patients

6. A letter dated
September 13th, 1991, received from consumer safety
officer Harold Days from the U.S. Food and Drug
Administration has stated that because silver water is
accepted as a pre-1938 medication, it may continue to be
marketed. 'These products may continue to be
marketed...as long as they are advertised and labeled
for the same use as in 1938 and as long as they are
manufactured in the original manner.' The FDA has
specifically requested that
Covalent Silver Solution not be allowed to be
marketed with any direct claims to aiding remission in

7. The British Medical
Journal, February 1923, contains an article entitled,
"Colloidal Preparations of Silver in Pharmacy." This

Thyroid Cancer - The
Thyroid is a butterfly-shaped endocrine gland in the
neck that is found on both sides of the trachea
(windpipe). It secretes the hormone
thyroxine which controls the rate of metabolism.
There are four major types of thyroid cancer: papillary,
follicular, medullary, and
anaplastic. Papillary
carcinoma is the most common form of thyroid malignancy
and usually affects women of child-bearing age. Symptoms
include neck swelling, goiter, horse voice, cough,
haemoptysis, diarrhea and
constipation. Follicular carcinoma occurs with increased
frequency in those who have had radiation exposure to
the neck. Other risk factors include a family history of
thyroid disease and history for goiter. Follicular
carcinoma constitutes about 30% of all thyroid cancers.
Symptoms include enlargement of the thyroid gland or
neck swelling, change in voice, cough (occasionally
bloody) and diarrhea.
Tuberculosis - An
infectious disease of humans and animals caused by the
tubercle bacillus and characterized by the formation of
tubercles on the lungs and other tissues of the body,
often developing long after the initial infection.
Tonsillitis -
Inflammation of the tonsils.
Toxemia - blood
poisoning caused by toxic substances in the blood.
Trachoma - A contagious
disease of the conjunctiva and cornea caused by the
gram-negative bacterium Chlamydia

lump growing on the skin, caused by infection with
certain viruses and occurring typically on the hands or

Whooping Cough - A
highly contagious disease of the respiratory system,
usually affecting children, that is caused by the
bacterium Bordetella
pertussis and is
characterized in its advanced stage by spasms of
coughing interspersed with deep, noisy inspirations.

Yeast Infection -
Infection with a fungus of the genus Candida. It is
usually a superficial infection of the moist
cutaneous areas of the body
and is generally caused by Candida
albicans, it most commonly involves the skin (dermatocandidiasis),

candidiasis), respiratory tract (bronchocandidiasis)
and vagina (vaginal candidiasis
or thrush). Rarely there is a systemic infection or
endocarditis.
Stomach Ulcer - An
ulcer in the mucosal lining of the stomach. Ulcer
formation results from gastric inflammation that may be
triggered by the use of alcohol, aspirin or
non-steroidal anti-inflammatory agents. Symptoms include
recurrent abdominal pains, nausea, vomiting, weight loss
and fatigue. Complications include GI bleeding,
obstruction, perforation and ulcer penetration into
surrounding tissues.
Veterinary Uses - See

and autoimmune disease in dogs.
ORALLY: Use Covalent
Silver Solution as indicated by instructions. Remember,
Covalent Silver is not a drug and may take awhile to
build up in the system. Taken orally, the silver
solution is absorbed from the mouth into the bloodstream
then transported quickly to the body cells. Swishing the
solution under the tongue briefly before swallowing
ensures faster absorption and also helps prevent gum
disease. Since Covalent Silver is eliminated by the
kidneys, lymph system and bowel after one week, a
regular daily intake is recommended as a protection
against dangerous pathogens. Hence the toxins are
released through the bowels often resulting in temporary
diarrhea as the body is cleansed. There have never been
any known conflicts with alternate medication, nor can
you overdose.
Options: Drink
undiluted, mix with juices, freeze into ice cubes, use
in hot drinks and soups, in cooking, canning, or
freezing. For long-term storage keep bottles in a cool

EYES, EARS & NOSE: Use
an eyedropper containing Covalent Silver Solution full
strength. A very good method to economize and maximize
the effectiveness is to atomize the silver and inhale
the mist through the mouth and nose into the sinus and

For Nose & Sinuses:
Frequent application into the nostrils may be needed. It
may be useful to lie back and tilt your head when
applying drops into the nostrils. A simple way to
deliver Covalent Silver Solution into the sinuses is to
pour a small amount into the palm of your hand, lean
your head forward, and quickly sniff it into the
nostrils.
For Eyes: Blink your
eye into the water in the palm of your hand. Eyes may
feel a slight sensation.

Wipe directly onto the skin or add to a bottle to spray

cuts, scrapes, burns, and open sores, it can be placed
on a Band Aid to cover warts. It can be rubbed directly
on eczema, itches or bug bites.
Options: Mix a small
amount of Covalent Silver Solution with water-based

SKIN PROBLEMS: Apply
full strength Covalent Silver Solution to scalp or skin.

Australian Cattle Dog (Darby) who was diagnosed with

the germ mutates and the antibiotic become obsolete.

But there is no need
to feel defenseless because these mutating germs have
finally met their match. And it’s been right under our
noses all along. It’s SILVER!
Not just any Silver!
This Silver is special and it is referred to as
“Covalent Silver.” Covalent Silver just might be the
next germ-fighting wonder drug. And not just for the
serious threats making headlines: It’s also effective
against bacterial infections like strep throat, viruses
like the flu, and fungal infections like Candida. No
matter how much a germ mutates, it can not change enough

The history of silver

claimed that even a little bit of silver is dangerous
for your health. (I guess they didn’t realize that
silver is a normal part of our diets: Whole wheat and
mushrooms are just two of the sources that contain
relatively large amounts of silver.)
But all living things,
from microbes to men, resist being killed. So after the
first two to three decades of being killed off easily,
bacteria have developed enough resistance to patented
antibiotics that doctors are beginning to get worried
again. Patented antifungal medications are not working
as well as they did at first either, and the number of
effective patented antiviral medications has always been
very small. Now the situation is spiraling out of
control!
To get an idea of the
magnitude of the super-germ problem, take a look at the
progression over the years. According to Newsweek,
during 1992 at least 13,000 hospital patients died from
drug-resistant infections despite being treated with
antibiotics. But just one year later, super-germs
raised the death toll to 70,000. As a result, in 1994
the Centers for Disease Control declared super-germs to
be America’s No. 1 health crisis. Since that time, the
number has skyrocketed to 2 million Americans per year
who suffer from hospital-based super germ infections.
While patent
medication companies pour billions of dollars into

infections of all kinds – bacterial, fungal, and viral,
apparently without inducing resistance.
A family of
germ-fighting metals!
For several years,
scientists have been looking closely at Covalent Silver
as the best candidate to thwart the looming epidemic of
super-germs. Back in the 70’s, a researcher reported on
the germ-fighting power of silver. He said, “Thanks to
eye-opening research, silver is emerging as a wonder of
modern medicine. An antibiotic kills perhaps a
half-dozen different disease organisms, but silver kills
some 650. Resistant strains fail to develop. Moreover,
silver is virtually non-toxic”.
Silver belongs to the
family of metals that also includes copper and gold
(both of which can also have numerous health benefits
when they’re used properly. One of the primary concerns
people tend to have about using these metals is the risk
that they will accumulate in the body and lead to heavy
metal toxicity. But, if you have antioxidants in your
diet, such as selenium, vitamin E, and amino acids like
N-acetyl cysteine, you are
safe from any harmful effects from this family of
metals. Germs, however, are not!
Once a germ has
entered human cells, it becomes more difficult for drugs
to attack the infection without also becoming toxic to
those cells. But according to a research study
published in the European Journal of Biochemistry,
silver (and the other metals in this family) bring about
a key reaction within the body’s defense system: the
production of hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogen peroxide is
lethal to germs, but it’s not harmful to healthy human
tissues when they’re protected by plenty of
antioxidants.
The secret to
silver’s success!
Although researchers
have known of silver’s germ-fighting effects for
decades, it wasn’t until 2000 that scientists finally
understood why it worked so well. But first, it’s
important to understand antibiotics’ Achilles’ heel.
Although germs have three vulnerable targets and single
antibiotic can attack only one of them at a time: (1)
the germ’s outer membrane, (2) its internal components,
or (3) its delicate gene pool. When a germ becomes
resistant to an antibiotic, it has learned how to
fortify the specific target that the antibiotic
attacks. You would have to take several antibiotics to
attack all of the germ’s targets simultaneously.
But that sets the
stage for further problems. Taking multiple antibiotics
just increases the odds of wiping out enough friendly
bacteria to allow an infection by various fungi
(including Candida and other yeast). And in place of
the friendly bacteria, “resistant” bacteria set up camp,
including the infamous, but all-too-common, hospital
residents – staph aureus and
clostridia.
Antibiotics obviously
don’t have what it takes to nip these super-bugs in the
bud. But that’s where Covalent Silver comes in. Silver
attacks all three of the germ’s vulnerable targets at
once. First, the silver ions easily rupture a germ’s
outer membrane when present in the right amounts,
causing the germs’ vital internal components to be
exposed in the bloodstream to our white blood cells.
While the white blood cells attack the internal
components, the micro-particulate silver continues to
destroy these vital internal components by cutting up
vital enzymes.
The Silver ions then
easily attack the germ’s third vulnerable target: its

war on viruses!
But Silver doesn’t’
stop at fighting bacteria – it also targets fungal
infections such as athlete’s foot and Candida, as well
as viruses, such as the flu, upper respiratory
infections, strep throat, and even HIV!
As mentioned earlier,
one of the biggest problems with fighting off germs –
whether they are bacteria, viruses, or fungi – is
keeping the body’s cells safe and unharmed in the
process. When a virus enters your body, it has to
attach itself to your body’s cells in order to live, and
it actually uses those cells to help reproduce
itself. They are so
intertwined that it is impossible to kill off he virus
without killing your body’s cells in the process.
Because of that, your
immune system is basically on its own when it comes to
fighting a virus after it has entered your body. It
does this by creating antibodies that will kill that
specific virus and will keep it from coming back again.
One mainstream medical solution is to get a vaccine of
the specific virus (such as small pox or the measles)
before you contract it. That will cause your body to
build up antibodies to the virus and prevent you from
contracting the real thing. But that’s not the only
medical solution. There are a few somewhat effective
patent medications, though they are laden with side
effects. Look up “amantadine”
and “acyclovir” for example,
or some of the patent medication used against HIV.
Once again, the
problem occurs when the virus itself changes. Take the
flu, for example. The flu is one of the most common
viruses that we face every year. But it’s hard to stay
ahead of it because new strains are always developing
that are different from the ones that vaccines have been
developed to treat. Many flu vaccines are a classic
example of “fighting the last war” over again, instead
of the present one. Each year it becomes increasingly
more clear that what we
really need is a broad–spectrum antiviral agent. This
brings us once again to Covalent Silver.
A number of emerging
medical studies confirm the antiviral properties of
silver ions both in the laboratory and in real human
studies against some of the most formidable viral
organisms, including HIV and herpes. A study in 1991
showed that both zinc and silver ions strongly inhibited
HIV infection. In 1993, the Washington Post
cited laboratory tests showing that a new Japanese
silver ion powder actually destroyed both HIV and
herpes. And when silver is tied to oxygen, it can
actually electrocute the germ-which has turned out to be
a powerful new way to destroy viruses. Thus, the
development of Covalent Silver!
Beginning in the
1970’s several independent researchers found that silver
ions easily destroy Candida and other fungi. But it
wasn’t until a pilot study during the mid 1990’s that
included human patients suffering from terminal AIDS
that medical researchers established solid evidence
showing just how quick and effective silver ions can be
in the treatment of Candida as well as HIV.
In this study, nine
individuals diagnosed as “near death” were divided into
two subgroups. One group suffered from HIV and terrible
Candida infection. The other group suffered from both
HIV and an extreme form of malnutrition (know as Wasting
Syndrome). The researchers found that in both groups
the Silver was capable of killing pathogens and purging
the bloodstream of germ defenses in order to restore the
immune system.
One of the most
exciting aspects of this study is the positive effect
Silver has on the severe blood disorders present in
AIDS. For example, it is well known that certain
populations of immune cells called CD4 cells (a type of
white blood cell) are greatly altered and deficient in
people who have AIDS. Although Silver ions may
initially cause a person’s blood cell counts to drop,
the deficiency in the CD-4 cells is corrected within 24
to 72 hours. This is called the “rebound effect.”
As far back as 1916,
researchers found that silver-based drugs increased the
number of immune cells called leucocytes, while at the
same time checking Staphylococcus septicemia, a severe
and often lethal blood infection. After an initial
decrease in red and white blood cells, silver ions
caused a rapid increase in both types. But it wasn’t
until 2001 that a single pilot study reported in the
Clinical Practice of Alternative Medicine showed
that high concentrations of a certain kind of Silver has
the same results: At first, a dramatic and sharp
decrease of the good blood cells, but then a rebound
effect rapidly kicked in and resulted in total blood
cell recovery.
Another feature of
certain immune cells that is vital to destroying germs
is the ability of those cells to swallow and digest
them. How fast or how slow these immune cells carry out
this vital defensive action is called
phagocytic index.
In 1909, the Journal of the American Medical
Association was the first medical journal to point
out that Silver could actually increase our immune
cells’ phagocytic
index! In the past few years, more studies have
shown that Silver ions greatly enhance the essential
second part of the phagocytic
index – the part where the germ is digested by our
immune cells. This is brought about because Silver ions
increase the “digesting juices” (what you know as
hydrogen peroxide) of these immune cells.
Pint-sized
particles duke it out with the Goliath of germs!
The smaller the size
of the Silver particle, the more likely it is to kill
germs. Previously, the smallest silver particle
preparations were between 14 and 26 nanometers. (A
nanometer is one billionth of a meter.) But more
recently, many natural medicine clinics and physicians
have been working with a preparation of silver that has
a confirmed uniform particle size of 0.8 nanometers. It
is referred to as Covalent Silver. When this 0.8
nanometer-sized silver is used intravenously by
physicians, it’s often called “UPOSH,” which is short
for “ultra particulate uniform
picoscalar silver hydrosol.” Some products have
particles even smaller.
At 0.8 nanometers, the
Covalent Silver particles are tiny enough to be readily
absorbed in your stomach, so they can easily penetrate
into germs when properly delivered in the right
amounts. Another benefit of quick absorption is that it
protects the good bacteria in your digestive system. In
contrast, as antibiotics travel deep into the intestinal
tract, they destroy the protective bacteria that reside
there, often causing diarrhea and yeast infections in
the process.
If you feel an
infection coming on, try taking 1 teaspoon (5
ccs) of Covalent Silver
every 15 to 60 minutes on an empty stomach seven or more
times daily. Of course, it’s always a good idea to
check with your doctor about what might be right for
your particular circumstances. But the sooner you start
taking it in the course of an infection, the better its
chances of working quickly. You can use the Silver
treatment while taking other anti-infection and
immune-boosting agents, such as vitamin C, vitamin A,
Echinacea, and many others, but you shouldn’t take them
at the same time because the silver absorbs best on an
empty stomach. Although these tiny quantities of silver
are very safe for human, you should still stop the
treatment once the infection is gone. It has also been
indicated that long-term use of larger sized
particles of Silver in very large doses can cause a
bluish discoloration of the skin called
Argyia.
Occasionally, Covalent
Silver can be so effective that the immune system can
not handle the rapid dying off of microorganisms. This
excess die-off could produce symptoms called
Jarisch-Herzheimer effects (JHEs),
more commonly called Herzheimer
reactions. Symptoms can include mild to moderate
headaches, joint pain, sweating,
nausea, flu-like symptoms without fever, malaise,
a red rash, skeletal pain, and itching. Less common
symptoms include chills, diarrhea (typically of short
duration), vomiting of short duration, and fever. Keep
in mind, though, that these symptoms are actually an
indication that the treatment is working. If you
experience Herxheimer
reactions, stop taking the treatment for 24 to 48 hours
and then resume at a lower dose. And as always, consult
